Gifts and Rewards Still Sway Consumers

Sixty percent of retail banking consumers said receiving a free gift from a financial institution would make a difference in their choice of institution or financial service, according to a survey by Rennhack Marketing Services, a provider of corporate gifts and giveaways. While 83 percent of the consumers polled prefer instant gifts, 45 percent also would enjoy being enrolled in a customer points or rewards program.
